FRED JOHN ROBERTSON Fred passed away at the Vista Park Lodge on January 23, 2006, the beloved husband of Rita for 62 years and father of Donald. He is also survived by his sister Kay and her husband Doug Bradley and their family, sister-in-law Gwen Brookes, brother-in-law Ed Rutledge and family. He was predeceased by his sister Phyllis Rutledge. Fred was employed with Public Press Limited for 48 years. He was a member of Capitol Lodge #136 A.F. A.M., Past Grand Master of the Grand Lodge of Manitoba in 1975, Honorary member of the Grand Lodge of North Dakota, Minnesota, Mississippi and Canada in Ontario, member of Queen Winnipeg Chapter #1, Past Grand Patron of the Grand Chapter of Manitoba, Order of the Eastern Star, member of the Order of Demolay- Legion of Honor, member of the Royal Order of Scotland and a former member of the Allemande 8's Square Dance Club. The family would like to extend their appreciation to the staff at Vista Park Lodge for all their care. Following cremation a memorial service will be held on Thursday, January 26, 2006 at 2:00 p.m. in the Thomson Funeral Home, 669 Broadway with a reception to follow.
